Incase, you are wondering on how to craft a bookshelf, you just need to place three books in the middle of any six wood planks on the crafting table. Also, make sure you have enough papers and leathers to craft books.
Finally, Place closed walls around unspecialized villagers and place a Lectern in front. After a while, the villager will choose the profession of a Librarian. Now you can trade enchanted books with emeralds. If you are out of emeralds, you can sell papers to a Librarian for emeralds.
How to Level up Your Librarian ?
You can level up your librarian by constantly trading and gaining experience. Every profession has five levels; Novice, Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert, and Master. Leveling up your librarian will allow you to buy treasured enchanted books like mending, smite, silk touch, and so on. You can also trade ink sacks at the journeyman level and buy name tags at the expert level.
Each trade can be completed six times per day. After the sixth trade, the transaction is locked by the librarian. You can see particles floating around when the librarian levels up, and the belt hanging on its waist also turns from gold to emerald, depending on the level.
To increase the chance of getting rare enchanted books, you need to turn at least ten villagers into librarians. You can first breed them and turn each of them into a librarian. This will increase the trade for more emeralds as you can only trade six times per librarian.
