How to Get Crafting Metals in Apex Legends
Let’s say you want to buy some cosmetics and need Crafting Metals to do that. But Crafting Metals are very hard to come by. Without spending real-life money and spending lots and lots of time grinding, getting cosmetics is next to impossible in Apex Legends.
The only free way to get cosmetics is using Crafting Materials. You need about 30 to 2400 Crafting Materials to get any cosmetics in the game. So, you may be thinking, how to get Crafting Metals in Apex Legends ?
There is only one way to get Crafting Metals in Apex Legends. You cannot buy Crafting Metals using the other two currencies. A pack in Apex Legends called Apex Packs grants you Crafting Metals.
The amount of Crafting Metals depends on the rarity of the Apex Pack. Here is the list of the amount of Crafting Metals you can get from the different rarity of Apex Pack:
- Common – 15
- Rare – 30
- Epic – 200
- Legendary – 600
There is also another way to get Crafting Metals. But it is the slowest method. After you have unlocked all cosmetics of a specific rarity, you will get Crafting Metals whenever you get the same rarity cosmetic.
For example, if you have all the rare cosmetics, you will be awarded Crafting Metals if you get any rare cosmetics again.
Where Can You Get Apex Pack
As mentioned earlier, getting Crafting Metals and cosmetics in Apex Legends is very expensive, and you need to invest lots of time grinding. The game has only one method to obtain Crafting Materials, and it is by Crafting Materials from Apex Packs involving RNG.
Although you can get Crafting Metals from Apex Packs, there is no guarantee you can get Crafting Metals. While leveling up, you will get Apex Pack for 20 levels. After that, you will get them randomly while leveling up.
Also, there are Apex Packs in Battle Pass levels. So, completing battle pass level objectives will also grant you Apex Packs.
Another way to get Apex Packs is to buy them. This is the fastest and most expensive method of getting Apex Packs and eventually Crafting Metals. You can buy Apex Packs from Store using Apex Coins. For 1 Apex Pack, you need to have 100 Apex Coins.
Where to Use Crafting Metals
After reading up until now, you know that you can use Crafting Metals to purchase cosmetics in Apex Legends. You can see your total number of Crafting Metals from the blue icon that is on the top right of the main screen.
